Shades of bloom floral design was founded by Terry Cunningham, a South African born floral designer. Terry has over 16 years experience in the floral industry and her passion for flowers stems from her early childhood growing up on a flower farm in South Africa where her family still cultivate an grow various exotic and indigenous flowers.

Before moving to Ireland in 2005 Terry ran a very successful floral design business near Cape Town where she worked on large scale corporate events, weddings and government functions. The highlight of her career thus far is having had the opportunity to arrange flowers for former South African president Nelson Mandela.

Terry has a unique style born from her African roots combined with her passion for flowers, design and all things beautiful. She believes in a personalised service whereby she deals with each and every client herself.
