Gerberas & Butterflies

Shelly and Patrick opted for a spring wedding in Early March. The ceremony was held at Fires church in Co Kerry with the reception held in the Ballyrow Hotel in Tralee. Shelly wanted something really colourful to compliment her bridesmaid dress, which was a cerise pink colour. Gerberas seemed to be the perfect match and also one of Shelly’s favourite flowers, so it was a perfect fit.

The bridal bouquet was simple with white gerberas with diamante. The bridesmaid bouquet had all the coloured gerbera, orange, yellow and cerise. Shelly also had two flower girls and here we went with a couple of wands with mini gerbera.

The church was simply decorated with a large altar arrangement. For the pew ends we used a single colourful gerbera on every second pew end. Outside the church we had two spiral topiary trees with mini gerberas. We added two lanterns for a bit of candle light.

For the reception tables, we used glass fishbowls with mixed gerberas and butterflies.

Gerberas in Glenbeigh..

Laura and Liam were married in Glenbeigh church in October.  Laura’s family own the pub right across the road from the church so it was an ideal location for the ceremony as well as a very short commute for Laura to the church.Bridal Couple Outside ChurchThe flowers were bright and colourful! Laura wanted something a little different to the norm, so we used loads of colourful gerberas with lime green hydrangeas for the bouquets and arrangements. (photo by Cleary’s Photography)

We kept he bouquets in classic ivory shades. Oona’s bouquet consisted of vendella roses, stephanotis,  lisianthus and eucalyptus .We added in some diamante which picked up on the beautiful brooch we used on the handle. The bridesmaids’ bouquets were also vendella roses with lisianthus and ornitholignum.
