Amy and Steven are both living in Australia. They decide to get married in Kenmare Co. Kerry as this is Steven’s home place.
Amy’s theme was black and white with a hint of lime green. She loved hydrangeas and wanted them as the main flower throughout the wedding. This worked out perfectly as they are in full bloom in August.
Her bridesmaids wore black dresses so to add in some of the black colour with a bit of texture, we used some black viburnum berries. We used the same flowers for all the bouquets, white avalanche roses with the black berries.
The reception centrepieces at the Kenmare Bay hotel were a mixture of tall candelabra and glass fish bowls. Each arrangement consisted of white and green hydrangeas with the black berries through them.
In the church we had topiary trees at the entrance with white hydrangeas in them. The pew ends were all white pomanders with black satin ribbon.
