What a great start to the year, one of our first weddings for 2016 was Melissa and Richard’s in Killarney St mary’s Cathedral and the Malton Hotel. Melissa was such a lovely girl to work with, so easy going:) She wanted a relaxed natural look for her flowers. Choosing a handtied cascading bouquet with solf pale pink and liac tones with trailing ivy.

Woodland Wedding

Mitzi and Oliver chose the beautiful Kenmare for the location for their wedding. Holy Cross Church & Dromquinna Manor were their choice of venues. Mitzi loved the idea of incorperating all the lovely woodland surroundings into their wedding flowers. For her own bouquet we included  wild foliages such as thistle and ferns with pale pink David Austin garden roses for a hint of colour.

The bridesmaids Dresses were a lovely misty blue grey colour, so we used the deep blue thistle to bring out this colour in the bouquets.

This was an idea Mitzi had of incorperating dried lavender into the table plan. We filled a crate with babies breath and lavender. It was very effective and gave off a lovely smell in the reception.

Fiona and Mike were married in Killarney in July earlier this year. Their ceremony was held in st Mary’s Cathedral  and the reception the Dunloe Castle Hotel in Beaufort. These two were really a lovely couple and a joy to work with.

Fiona had just one bridesmaid who wore Purple. So for Fiona’s bouquet we added in a lighter shade of lilac with some white roses with Diamanté through them.

August Blue Flowers

August Blue

This was a very memorable wedding from August last summer. It started off as a very wet day in Killarney where Karen and Kevin chose to say their vows in Fossa church. I remember standing outside the church in the pouring rain waiting for Karen to arrive from Cork so that I could give her bouquet before she walked down the Isle. She looked absolutely stunning and was not fazed at all by the rain.

Sinead wanted to use seasonal flowers in her bouquet so we went with Peonies and white avalanche roses. We added in a few smaller cluster roses to create texture in-between these big blousy blooms.
