Michelle and Dax were one of the most memorable weddings that I worked on. They were both from Canada and had chosen to tie the knot in Killarney Co Kerry. The venues they chose for their ceremony and reception were, St Mary’s Cathedral and Cahernane house in Killarney. Michelle was very clear of what flowers she wanted from the start. Lily of the Valley!
Michelle’s bouquet was a hand-tied posy full of just lily of the valley with a trimming of dark green leaves.
For Dax, we gave him a single sprig of Lily of the Valley
The six bridesmaids, wore emerald green dresses and carried smaller versions of Michelle’s bouquet.
For the church flowers, we used a combination of white hydrangeas, veronica, bells of Ireland, avalanche roses, amaranthus and lisianthus.
We continued with the same combination of flowers for the centrepieces at the reception only we added in a bit of the Lily of the Valley.
